After meeting my now Wife, since last June, 3 years ago the newborn came along. I had to keep the system put away for the last 2 and a half years! No way could I have a pair of Harbeths on stands in the living room. And a SET amp on the floor? I'll pass on the fireworks in the house.
I did manage to get away with a pair of OB's for my Electro Voice 12trxb's but the wife didn't care for the size of them, so when the wife accepted the ML Quest Z's last week I was shocked. I needed something heavy enough so that the now 2n1/2 year old 125# German Rotty couldn't knock them over. Yup same newborn.
I've always loved the sound of ML's and Maggies but never had sufficient space. The system isn't quite finished. I have a Musical Fidelity A300 and cables on the way. I kept my Arcam fmj cd23 and Rega Planar P3. Every things went up for sale.
