Some of you more familiar with Martin Logan may know of Rick Carr. Rick was a 20+ year veteran of ML. For the past several months, Rick had been battling cancer. He died this past Saturday, survived by a loving wife and young son. All of ML is morning this loss. For those of you who are spiritual, your prayers for the comfort of his family, and for the happy repose of his soul, are requested.

I did not know Rick but that is very sad news , I will keep his family in my prayers

Sad to here that he died.Rick will live on threw the great speakers he helped to build every time someone spins a sweet song on them!

Wow, that's really sad to hear, back when the drawing started, they were saying he had a year or so...

RIP Prayers sent for family and friends. Very sad news.

I'm pretty sure it was Rick who showed us how they cut and apply the veneers, during our 2007 visit. The ML website feature is a nice tribute to him, and the entire team. Our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and co-workers.

Cancer is an awful thing that we need to figure out. I wish society made a bigger deal out of it to many good people die much to young.

Very sad too hear, but Rick's work lives on whenever someone listens to ML speakers.

I am impressed that ML put a couple of pictures of Rick on their website. A classy thing to do.

I think they could do without that warning that pops up over everything and covers the pictures.

Respectfully, that doesn't occur in the Custom Shop section of the website where tribute is affectionately given to Rick under the "Process Gallery" tab. Rick took great pride in his work on that project. His appearance in that gallery is a fitting tribute to this wonderful craftsman and incredible person.
