I noticed that a number of you had been to the Sanders room at RMAF and that Roger was quoted as saying that he developed the curved panel electrostatic speaker for Martin Logan.

This is 100 % False.

Roger Sanders had NOTHING to do with the Martin Logan designs. I spent the whole day at the factory yesterday and I asked them about this. He said that Roger was never associated with ML.

When I was in the Sanders room Roger told me that he invented the curved electrostatic panel and that Martin Logan copied his design. He never said that he worked for Martin Logan while I was in the room.

I didn't want to debate the guy or press him on it, but perhaps I should have for the sake of clarity here. Perhaps Angela can interject Rogers side of the story here.

What I should have asked him was:

A.) When you invented the curved electrostatic panel did you pursue any intelectual property protection or patents?

B.) If you did have IPP or Patents in place why did they not secure your design rights and why didn't you set up a commission structure for a "slice of the pie".

C.) If you did have a patent in place did it expire and become part of the public domain? Did you elect not to maintain the patent? (I remember this happend to Klipsh a number of years ago with the original K-Horn patent)
