There was some loose tape on the bottom (I had to press it down) not sure if the mylar is ok. One piece of velcrow was off the speaker, found it after the rails were on. Ill have to go back later and check. The stator is not perfectly straight, but so far these seem to sound ok. Hard to tell right off though - they are so bright and unbroken in.
I must say, I am still blown away by how they sound, I am also blown away how service parts for a speaker that costs $4800 new are so shoddy.

They never are flat and smooth . They flatten out when compressed with the wood rails. Yes they will be bright for a few days run them all night and day with any music just to keep them playing. Velcro off, tape loose. The Velcro is held on with good sticky tape. I know I have tried to remove it ! Whats the manufacture date of these panels. The number should tell you every thing you need. Its on the upper corner. I find it hard that ML would hap haphazardly give you 4 bad sets of panels. 1 on mistake 2 by pure bad luck 3 from damage but there is no way they would make set #4 poorly. Its costing them money as they do not reuse the stators.
