Father time has cought up with my CLS panels

The only thing I can think is that tension can probably be measured by degree of deflection for a given pressure - or lack thereof. Therefore, increase/reduce tension until the correct deflection is attained.
 
Well My panels are being made. They should be ready in a week acording to ML. :D
 
If they were mine I'd have a go-and I'd replace the mylar used (which was probably >10uM) with 3.5uM stuff, as it is supposed to be incredible to listen to.

With what would You make the mylar conductive, and maintain the mirror
finish of the original coating?

I think you will be happy with the new panels after the first few hours of edginess goes away. You may have to dicker around with your speaker placement after they do break in in order to get the voicing back to the way you like it. That being said, I believe that you will enjoy an improvement in the sound

Let us know what kind of improvements (and or changes) in sound you notice mine have the older panels too I'd like opinion on the worth of changing them out.
