I stayed in the room long enough to listen to a couple of songs. They were decent enough, but certainly not appropriate for the size of the room. They were actually quite a bit larger than the Focal Grande Utopia EM's in a room less than 1/4 of the size. I went up to them and did the knuckle rap test on the cabinets and they were utterly inert. The coaxial/coplanar mid-tweeter was very cohesive, but didn't seem to have the extension or smoothness at the top end that the ribbons in the Von Schweikerts and Analysis Audio had, nor the Berrillium tweeters in the Focals and Ushers, or the plasma tweeters in the Accapella's and Lansche's.
At the price I'd say there were many contenders that matched or bettered the sound, the vast majority for less money. However, it wouldn't be fair to make a real assessment based upon the confines of the room (believe me I know about small rooms and the difficulties they present).
