So I recently read an interesting article about wearing in speakers.
The author suggests running test tones to both speakers, running one out of phase and facing them directly toward each other, fairly close and with a blanket covering them to block as much sound as possible.
The article is aimed at conventional speaker drivers.
Will this have any negative effect with the hybrid ESL's crossover as I believe it contains a transformer that wouldn't normally be contained in a speaker box?
Does is matter if one is getting a reversed phase signal for a period of a few days?
I am not looking to do this, just curious.
Also I am not looking to start a debate about wether you believe in speaker wear in or not. Thanks
