Negative. Power PC Macs won't run VMWare Desktop or Fusion, as all it does is make use of the Intel processor to run both OS X and Windows at the same time.
There was an older program called Virtual PC for Mac where you could run Windows in a virtual environment on the Mac, but to be honest, it sucked.
