Is there a database somewhere where one can check a second-hand ML loudspeaker (or amplifier, or…) is not stolen goods.
Considering the price of even second-hands ML speakers, that would be very useful…
I suppose Martin Logan could manage such a database, but a single database for multiple high end hi-fi companies would be more convenient.
 
to my knowlege, ML corporate doesn't track such things, but you should contact them directly to be sure. If not, it could be a possible business venture for someone.
 
Most owners keep their receipts especially for the expensive products and register their products on the ML side. Maybe they could tell you or confirm something about the previous owner if it's within the law
