Dear All,
Just had delivery of my fab CLS IIZ, roughly set them up but need more time to play with it. So far sounding better than the replaced B&W N800 on MF & HF. I waiting on some better power cables and Eichmann speaker pods since I'am using the Eichmann banana plugs on my speaker cables and the standard terminals are of poor quality and the banana plugs do not fully insert into them. I have already read alot of posts on this forum regarding the CLS-IIz and would like to ask some experts here for some advice.
1: what is the value of the standard Solen inductor and what can I replace it with for better dynamic and sound quality.
2: My CLS-IIZ are from 1992, I would like to change the black and orange colour capacitors just to keep it fresh....what brand would one change to better from the Solen's?.
3: What other tweaks can I do to improve to the electronic side of these speakers?.
