I came close to buying a pair of the 805AE amps but I hesitated and someone else bought them so it never happened. I'd still like to hear that combination. We considered using he Cary CAD 211 mono amps since they would be a great match power wise but haven't seen any available when I was in the market.
I'm now using a pair of Elecrocompaniet NEMOs 600 watts each on the Summits. They work well with a full midrange sound and all the bass you need. I'm happy with this combination.
