Hey Guys,
I'm hoping someone has some ideas on this...
I have a pair of ML Aerius i's which are probably 12 years old. I have had them for close to three years. They sound great, or did until tonight. I turned the system on and something sounded "off." Both speakers sound dead. The panels are making sound but not with the intensity they should be. I tried swapping everything up stream and have narrowed the problem to the speakers.
Both red power LED's are on.
It has been raining here but I live in California (bay area) but there isn't a tremendouns amount of moisture in the air here usually. I live in a small condo and I keep the temp fairly consistant.
The thing that surprises me about this is that they both sounded fine earlier in the week. For both of them to experience the same problem at the same time seems like more than a coincidence.
I realize it could be time to replace the panels but I'm hoping someone has had a similar problem and knows what's going on.
I vacuum the panels occasionally but have never washed them in the shower.
Thanks in advance for the help on this.
