I'm considering purchasing ML but not sure which to buy. Both the Aeon i and Sequel II are available in my area used from Audiogon. I would like to avoid shipping.
Current power is (2) Mac 250's....can be mono or stereo.....smaller listening area (12 x 15) plus or minus with 9' ceiling height.
I would really appreciate some suggestions from experienced listeners....
Mostly listen to jazz but also quite a bit of blues and some classical....occasional classic rock.....
Thank you for your help....

I would love to give you a more educated opinion but...........I at one time owned the Sequels and have never heard the Aeons. I really enjoyed the Sequels and moved up to the Ascents ( huh moved up...get it) All I can say is the Logan sound is addictive. I pretty much use this sound for a bench mark now. Best of luck to you.

Well, I've not heard the Sequels, but the Aeon i's were my first ML a few years ago -- and they were (still are) pretty darn awesome, at least to me...

They are currently serving as surrounds in my HT, but I must say that is a bit of overkill.

Bottom line, I am totally confident that you would be MORE than satisfied with the Aeon i's. Good luck on your venture -- you will be SO happy with whichever you choose. :D

You can't go wrong with the Sequels. I still prefer my Sequel II's to all the up to Can$12K regular speakers I've heard at local dealers recently.

I've listened to both and since your room is smaller, I'd go with the Aeons. Smaller speaker, newer model, bass integration is a little better than the Sequel II also...

Both are fine speakers and you can't go wrong with either, IMHO... Let us know what you decide.
