We ran out of space in our current issue, but for those interested, we have just finished review of the Moscode 402au and the Peachtree Audio NOVA.

The Moscode works incredibly well with the ML's. One of the best matchups I've heard....

And if you haven't had enough Beatles, a short review of the 1964 interview in Seattle! My local record store was giving them away with the Mono box sets they sold.

Though it may not be of huge interest to this group, we did just finish the review on the Grant Fidelity RITA 340 today....

35wpc, tube integrated. Nice sound if you aren't driving a pair of logans!!

Heavy too!

That's pretty timely...when i called Grant about their combo DAC,
tube buffer, they told me about the Rita 880 (45 watts). Normally
$5200, they said they would sell for $3000 shipped to Denver.
I read a good review on Soundstage, but the power scares me...
45 watts, seems too lightweight (not according to the review though).

Great amps, but not enough juice for newer ML speakers. You might be able to drive some CLS's at moderate volume, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

But if you've got your Montanas, I bet they'd be a nice match (aren't those pretty efficient?) and Ian is a very cool guy to work with...

The Montanas are about 91 efficiency...actually, they seem
pretty close to the Spires, but maybe i can't tell a real difference because my
MF A5 puts out 400 w into 4 ohms. I really liked the Sim/Montana combo, so if
i was going to buy an amp specifically for the Montanas, i would probably
go with the Sim. I'm trying to find an amp that will compliment both speakers.
