Ah, the gathering of the clan... and so it begins!

Looking forward to tomorrow and meeting some of you. I'm planning to be down by the registration desk around 11:30 and then I'll be heading directly into the area where they're selling music right off the bat. It's usually on the first floor, near the brew pub and big a$$ed 5 story atrium. I'll start calling folks after I get there to see if we want to cruise the show together - the Martin Logan gang.

I can't wait!

I'm charging the camera batteries right now Wayne. If I can do anywhere near as well as Justin did I'll be happy. This will be the fourth straight year I've posted my experiences of the show on this forum, I promise boatloads of pictures and impressions.

Funny thing is that just yesterday Tom made me an Admin. while he's on vacation and my solumn pledge to him was that I'd try not to break anything or turn it into a porn site!

His reply back was that with all the pics he'd posted of the CLX it was already an audio porn site.

Ha ha. From what I've seen so far, it's almost all old geezers! I almost bumped in to Mike Fremer and just about said, "Hi Mike", but I figured he didn't want to be bothered by the general public. It's funny, he looked like he was expecting me to say hi. Oh, he's a little guy. I'll be at the registration booth by 11:30 also.

I talked to Mr. Fremmer a couple of years ago at the show. He's actually as nice a guy as you would ever want to meet.

Hey - I expect to "get beat", as we say over here. "Do your worst, lads!".

Mug shots IS a point, however. That's what I don't like about other show reports e.g. Stereophile and Enjoy The Music. We wanna see the gear, not the faces!

Oh alright, then, a few mug shots won't hurt too badly, I suppose. But whilst we are all looking forward to the porn, pleez keep yer clothes on!

Good luck with the pics - hope you have better luck with than I did with the London shots. A lot depends on the light - if it's adequate, they should come out well. Over here at shows, we display it in dimly lit rooms. Bad for photos - and flashes just reflect off the equipment. Fingers crossed, anyway, Tim.

brief update

Fellas -

All is well in Denver. It's truly a wonderful show with some AMAZING gear. We have tons of pics to post up.

Tim - thanks so much for helping to organize this trip and having us over on Saturday!!! I return to MD today but a few members will be hanging out at the hotel to take in more tunes.
