Looking for a little USA Travel Advice.

If you decide to go to Asheville I highly recommend taking an afternoon and doing the brews cruise, link below. Asheville was recently rated Beer City USA due to them having the highest number of breweries per capita in the US. My wife and I visited there a few weekends ago and had a great time...

    The History of RCA's Nipper!

Very good find! Here is a picture of the Nipper mentioned in the article that resides in Baltimore. I have not been there in a while, but this one used to sit in front of the City Lights museum, a place dedicated to the history of the city of Balmer (local pronunciation). As I recall this Nipper...

    Why I like the internet

I am neither a Dem or GOP member so this is not a partisan attack, but this seems to be one of the major problems we face-Big Government. I am not saying that the first lady for either party should not have an assistant that is paid well, but does she need so many people with combined salaries...

    Sunday Morning Music

A Day of DMP Too hot today to go outside, decided to brew some Iced Mochas and read the NY Times from cover to cover with some of my friends from DMP.

    What model is it?

Not sure, but MLs have shown up in many movies and TV series. In the Highlander TV series, the lead character had what looked like a set of reQuests in his loft.

I'm not sure I love my Stage...

This is a question I have always quietly asked myself when I read that any speaker needs to be broken in. Do the speakers actually "break-in" or do we just become accustom to the sound? To the point above, I either like the sound of a speaker or I don't when listening. I loved my Sequel II's...

    Tina Arena-Songs of Love & Loss 2

Artist: Tina Arena Title: Songs of Love and Lost 2 Year of Release: November 2008 Record Label:? Genre: Pop I have followed this Diva from Down Under for a long time, and while many critics simply dismiss her as bubble gum pop, her voice is as rich and velvety as any singer over the last 20...

    In rememberance.......

I feel your pain. We had to put both of our dalmatians down in this year. You never realize how much you might miss them until you come home from work and there is no tail wagging and wet kisses to greet you after a day of dealing with the idiocy of the corporate world.

The "Post Your Favourite Lyric(s) Thread"

XTC- King For A Day- When ever I see a brown noser at work these lyrics come rushing to my mind. Everyones creeping up to the money god, Putting tongues where they didnt ought to be. On stepping stones of human hearts and souls, Into the land of nothing for free. Well the way that were living...

    Mss hifi

So it seems like the majority of interactions with this company have been positive. I hear the comments from the dealer side of skepticism and caution, and while I feel for your business, I have no ML dealer in my area anymore so internet is my only route. Thanks to all for the feedback!

Has anyone ever purchased any equipment from this outfit? I see that they have a few used and new ML pieces, just wondered if they were reputable? Thanks

    Coffee Makers

As any home barrista knows, making great coffee can be a messy endeavor. My wife is tired of finding coffee grinds throughout the kitchen. We have a machine at work and I tend to use that on more than my home unit. You are correct that this is a great prosumer machine.

    Coffee Makers

How about a top of the line Livia Unit? I had this unit on Craig's List, but got nothing but low ball bids. The Pasquini Livia 90 Auto is the Martin-Logan of Espresso/Cappucino machines, the unit alone retails for $1,975 on most internet sites. I have all the accessories here for $995 +...

    Audio places in Brussels ???

mmmmm, Beer Be sure to check out Cafe Delirium while in Brussels, they have well over 2000 beers and all are amazing. Also my favorite restaurant near the Grande Platz is Le Belge Queen, it is an old bank that has been transformed into a chic eatery with a fantastic raw bar.

    dealer rant..

No more dealers For Atlanta ML fans, it looks like mail order is now our only option. HiFi Buys (Tweeter), to my knowledge, was the last full-line ML dealer in our area and they just closed the last of their stores.

    Sunday Morning Music

Upchurch/Tennyson A little vinyl R&B for a Sunday morning. This was kind of a throw away album by the great Chicago guitar/bass player. But there are a few hidden gems on here and some great session men that went on to have pretty good careers of their own, including David Sanborn and Bob James.
