Well, I am glad some people on this thread do not care about prices, but for myself, if I had that amount to spend, I would invest it into a pair of brand new ESL15A. I very much doubt anybody in a blind test could make the difference between the outrageously priced JC1+ and the Purifi 1ET400A...

I do have the Purifi 1ET400A (25A) and although the latest Purifi 1ET7040SA may be slightly superior, the original Purifi performs superbly on my Summit X. Highly recommended in either version.

Thanks for the additional information ttocs, but unfortunately this does not seem compatible with several of the S/N already collected : RENPP005CES16, AFL9149857105. The last one could be made compatible if AFL9149857105 was incorrectly spelled, and was instead AFL9149857i05. But no way...

You decoded perfectly Robert, according to the Decoder SUSF 414 is SUMMIT 2007 June, 414th unit manufactured this month. Thanks TheSequel, I added a note for pre-1989 models (like Sequel 1) whose S/N seems to be only a 7 digits manufacturing date yymm###, with no built-in model identification.

Well, if you have an example of Summit S/N, I will gladly add it. The original decoder, which apparently was published by Martin Logan itself, was before the Summit (and the Summit X, which I added).
