I'm sure ML is monitoring this forum they haven't said anything to calm the fears of them possibly discontinuing the panels.

Or maybe Martin Logan can set up order dates possibly biannually to order panels. This way they can manufacture the Panels in such a way they can defray setup costs, inventory costs and it will not interfere with their work flow thus making it more profitable to keep manufacturing them.

You best take good care of those new panels they may be the last you'll be able to buy if ML decides to quit making them.

I'm just saying if you we're buying the panels for future use what good will it do to have a spare set of panels if you can't have the rest of the speaker serviced if need be. They said they would not support the older models I'm assuming that means the whole speaker not just panel replacement.

If they are not going to sell the panels anymore what makes you think they'll service any other part of the speaker in the future.

If they don't support their older products it will be the begining of the end for Martin Logan.

Their customer support is one of the things that separate ML from other companies. The panels are a consumable I would expect as long as there is a Martin Logan they should make panels for every model they have ever made how else are you going to support your customer. Saying they will...

Also I may add who will want to buy a several thousand dollar speaker if they don't have some reasonable guarantee that it will not become obsolete a few years down the line.

This is of special concern to me as I own both CLSIIzs and Sequel IIs without a source of new panels they will be doomed for the dumpster eventually and that would be a shame. Is this going to be a new program of planned obsolescence?
