Im using the Marantz SR7005 receiver with my Vantage and it sounds awesome. Plenty of power. Obviously a high output dedicated amp would be better, but it sounds great at loud volumes.

Ha! Well things have changed again. Instead of getting my Ampzilla Shipped back to me I had them ship the Carver 180 Mono block tube amps. I wanted to try something completely different. I should have those amps around May 4.

Good point and thats exactly why I am keeping the magtech. I guess re-sale value is what Im more after. I already own the Ampzilla and they are paid for, so i can sell those or trede even for new carvers. I am curious though to hear them....
