Yup, that's where I got them. Very nice amps, very clean with loads of power and detail. Very low noise floor. Some sibilance, but that seems to be more recording dependent. For $499 they are a screaming deal. These amps can compete with Krell, Classe, Bel Canto, etc.. and are dirt cheap.

Just ordered one of the close-out NHT Amplifier 2's. At $499 I couldn't pass it up. It's supposed to have the latest B&O modules. I'll follow up with listening impressions on my SL3's.

Personally I'm a fan of digital amps, they have a level of detail and "SET" sound that I really like. You can get a used PS Audio HCA-2 for around $700 or some Murano ICEPower amps for $900 or so.

Personally I'd say don't sweat HDMI. I use a Monoprice HDMI switcher and programmed it into my Harmony remote and it works great. Given the top dollar for high end HDMI switching preamps, I'd say this is the safe approach for now. Get a good preamp and add an external HDMI switch. On the...
