If you look at the CLS, the larger "sections" on the two sides of the panel output more low frequency the inner smaller "sections" that output higher frequency sound. Also, all sections on later panels were all randomly sized for a reason.... Overall area matters, and just sending over 100hz...

That Sodium Lauryl Sulfate liquid spray should work a treat, Lay flat on floor, Tape off all spars, and spray onto mylar taking care not to get so much on the spars. Wipe off stators and wait a day or so for the liquid to dry (leaving film) and then check output.

The soap to use is the ones that has the active ingredient Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. I rub it on ESL diaphragms and works great for ESL coatings. Whether you can apply it by spraying it on is not likely tho... needs to be applied straight up - no dilution - and it too thick to spray...
