Ok, the amp was just ordered. So, by the end of this week I should have it in the system. Also, Harmon who owns Crown has implemented a 6 year warranty on all of the crown amps for all of 2021. 6 years is pretty good!

Those speakers from 1990 are so old that if you can afford to replace them that would be a great fix. I'm guessing the 9 or 11 would be equivalent in today's speakers.

Watt power are you using? A receiver? A stand alone amp? What is it rated per channel into 4 ohms? I'd hate to see you fry another one.

The easy way to do it is buy the 13a speakers and try them out. If you feel you need more bass then add the sub. You will probably find you do not need any more bass. Either way it is easy to check it out.

What amplifier and power level do you have? That thing looks quite crisp. I like my bacon that way!
