I've heard the entry level ML ElectroMotion ESL's on just one occasion and having come from Sequels, reQuests and Summits, I was seriously underwhelmed at the sound I heard from these. I'm wondering if your expectations are set too high. Thoughts?

Yeah.. should be fine for center channel.. There's an older model on audiogon for a little cheaper.. Maybe you can get him to come down a bit. Good luck!

Without power, you should hear music coming from only the woofer section. If you unplug your ML's while they're playing, you will continue to hear music from the panels as the caps discharge in the panels power supply and then you'll just hear low frequency sounds from the woofer. Sadly...
