When's the last time you vacuumed the panels?? I'd do that first... Leave them unplugged overnight and then vacuum both sides.. If your vac has a soft brush attachment, use that as well.

Odyssey's are great.. and very large. The newer ML's are smaller, sound as good as the old larger ML's and easier to drive because of the onboard amps for the subwoofer section. I went from reQuest to Summit and the Summits were hands down much better... and easier to live with.

Like previously stated, smoke can cling to the ESL's diaphragm and I don't think vacuuming will remove this. You'd have to wash them in the shower. Unless you can get them for a great price, I'd steer clear. Ascents are very nice, though... A little more difficult to drive than the newer...

i've been thru the same thing and as much as I wanted to stay with ML, their non ESL models aren't as good as some other brands.... it's ok to leave ML. ;-)
