Hi all,
I'm considering various options for my next pair of speakers, and the Vantage and Spire are right at the top of my (very) short list. For those of you that have experience with both, what do you gain by stepping up to the Spire?
From what little I've read, the Spire is breathtakingly transparent, with not quite the same heft in the bass as the Summit (not surprising given only one woofer!). The Vantage has similarly high praise. Would I be correct in thinking that the Spire's bass is better than the Vantage, and if so, how big of an improvement?
I guess the question I'm trying to answer for myself is this: do I rush out and buy the Vantages "soon", or save for a few more months for the Spires? [Obviously the correct answer is to sell my car and get the CLXes! ]
