How many of you have your Martin logan speakers on a UPS and do you feel it is necessary to use one since the Logans have power supplys plus some use power amps like the Summits and Subwoofers? also how do you feel about using one that has a sine wave waveform? thanks

Do you plan to listen to music when the power is out? If so for how long? I would not add a UPS to the Logans. Most low end UPS add a lot of noise to the power and this noise will translate to noise in your music. Alos the UPS will limit the amount of current the Summit amps can get so you may not get the punch form the bass.

I have my system on my back up generator along with the sump, freezers, etc. The system has good noise filtering.
