Got something new to share this year or perhaps a favorite recording from years past that keeps coming to the forefront.....well share it with the group !

an all time favorite of mine is Alabama 'Christmas' and of course Nat King Cole. Recently Bernard and I agreed on another, Cantate Domino

Easy choice for me: "Night of Miracles" (from John W. Peterson publishing for the CD). Beautiful music and story of Christmas -- regardless of one's religious beliefs. It is, quite simply, stunning.

Same recommendations as last year:

- Reference Recordings' "Star of Wonder"
- "Christmas in Vienna" with Diana Ross, José Carreras, and Placido Domingo

Menotti's "Amal and the Night Visitors" used to be touted by TAS as a great recording. I bought a copy, but could not quite get into the music. That was years ago.

My new favorite Christmas album was last years release "A She & Him Christmas". I also really like all of the "A Very Special Christmas" series.

I have A Charlie Brown Christmas - Vince Guaraldi Trio broadcast on FM and sync'd to the lights on my house. Linus & Lucy is my favorite. Brings back memories of childhood.
