Has anyone out there ever split up the crossovers in a Theater speaker to either by- wire or bi-amp? If so how well did it work and what steps did you take? I would like to bi-amp my Theater i speaker.

A good place to start is to ask the factory for a copy of the Theater i schematic so we can see how hard it might be to splice into.
since it's an out of production model, they should be willing to send you a copy.
PM me when you get it and we'll take a look.
While waiting, think about the physical challenges: where will the extra input binding posts go? (there are dual input cups on Partsexpress.com, go look at those)
