Has anyone heard of or used the TEAC IW-C5I?

From what I have read it is a wireless docking system that lets you use your iPod (in your hand) as a remote and source, with the dock connected to the preamp.
This would be a great alternative to the Squeezebox for my needs (if there's a normal iPod version, not just for the nano), but was wondering if anyone has used one?
I am assuming it converts the iPod's analogue out to digital, then back to analogue again which would not be good.
