T+a Has Been Recommended To Me In Place Of A Theta Dreadnaught Ii. With About Half The Power Will It Be Strong Enough To Keep My Speakers Musical?

I Have heard of it and listened to it. reminds me a lot of B&O
take that for what it is worth

I am a big fan of T & A. Somehow I don't think that's what you're talking about though. What is T + A? Can't find it on audiogon.

I beg to differ. B&O is crap technology and consumer electronics sound, wrapped up in superb design. T+A is great technology, very nice design (nowadays) and quality sound. Really 2 different beasts. T+A is very popular in german highend circles, whereas B&O is only TTGLBUMG stuff. (Trying to get laid based upon my gear).

AFAIK the sub amps in Summits/Vantages use B&Ose's ICEpower. ;)

TTGLBUMG is a new one. I like it, but how do I pronounce it?

Ever heard of T&A beer? There is a funny video. I won't tell the URL because it contains a short scene of frontal nudity. Anyone who wants to see the video can find it easily enough anyway. The video requires QuickTime.

All of us at the Chicago 2nd Annual Meet heard TA gear and TA speakers. TA gear sounded very very good and was more than capable of driving the Wilson MAXX2. The TA speaker, however, had a sound all to their own. Perhaps it was the speaker position and the upstreams, but it did not impress any of us. However, like I said, it wasn't a fair demo for the TA speaker because we all know how fanatic we are about speaker positioning.... we need to give the TA speaker the benefit of the doubt that it was a lot to do with speaker position that was the anomaly in this audition.

TA gear, nonetheless, look very... um.... TA-like in goodness!

I've demoed T+A gear with the Vantages and Summits. They matched up great... till I saw the price tag that is! I'm sure they're more reasonably priced in Europe just as the MLs are in the US.
