Yesterday me and another ML-fan went to have a look in a really nice HiFi-store in another town. The guy who runs it is the new distributor for PrimaLuna in Sweden. Unfortunately he didn't have tha Dialogue sevens connected so we had to make do with listening to Magneplanar 1.7 connected to a Musical fidelty Titan amp, a bit unbalanced maybe but it sounded raher nice.
Anyhow, the owner suggested that I should borrow the Dialogues, just to test.
Knowing myself I was a bit hesitant especially considering that I have a pair Puritys so I really don't need a power amp. Guess what happened, a few hours later they were connected in my system. Oh dear, they really made those Puritys sing. :music:
Before I was quite satisfied with the sound after a bit of tweaking, but now, the musicality, the soundstage, the treble, the midrange and even the bass.
I think I have to keep them, who knows maybe pair of Spires or Ethos will find their way to my living room, then I really need a pair of power amps, don't you agree?
