I was just given a pair of Sequel II's by a generous individual. They are in good condition, and look great after I cleaned them. I am having a problem with the panels. The left one is soft and the right won't play mids. I called ML and was told to clean the panels, but they probably need new ones.

It took an hour each in the shower to get the panels clean. I am now waiting on them to dry, but I have a question about how the panels work. I remember reading something that said over time the glue in the panels comes undone and that is why the panels die. IDK if this is true, but my panels are not stuck together on both sides.... is this a problem? If it is, can't you just add a little glue, or am I missing something?

Anything else I should look over to make sure everything is good?
