Anyone have an opinion on which is better? I have Quests that were updated a few years ago with Request panels and have the opportunity to buy Ascent i's. What do you think?

I think the Ascents will sound "smaller". Possibly more accurate and easier to integrate with a subwoofer though....
If my el-cheapo, accountant of a wife were here, she'd tell you that going with the no-cost option is the best. But being an audiophile, I understand your desire to keep moving up the food chain.
