Hi all,
I have moved my current system from the living room to another room and in the process, seemed to have done something to the panels of one of my Aerius i. My system consists of a Marantz SA8260 into a Krell-300i into the Aerius. While connecting up the system (using the same Goertz bi-wire cables I had been using), I noticed that the binding posts on one of the speakers was very loose. After connecting everything and charging up the panels, I can hear sound out of the panels and the woofers from one of the speakers. However, the other speaker only outputs from the woofer and the panels are dead quiet. Could I have blown a fuse or is it the binding posts (and if so, can I repair the binding posts myself)? I figured I'd ask you folks before I lugged over the speakers to my nearest dealer. Thanks in advance,

Double check connections externally, but if there are loose posts, then you might need to open it up and tighten things down from the inside, as there might be a loose connection there as well.

Older models typically had the leads soldered to the binding posts inside, but I think newer models have them clipped or other type of connections that can (and have) come loose when transported.

Also, the leads from the internal electronics to the stat panels have been know to come loose or break during movement. So check those as well, but that’s last resort.

Let us know how it goes.
