Power Problems

I have a set of Aeon's and one just stop working, cannot get the speaker to power up. Any suggestion's before dropping off at repair shop?

No insult intended, but is it plugged in and is the IEC plug firmly in? Also, I recently had to debug a system that would not power up, and lo and behold there was no power at the A.C. outlet, so plug in a lamp to check if you still have power,
