very cool jeff -- thanks for the follow up.... so, a direct comparison to the dac III- now that you have the review out ?? you have heard them both - what does one do better than the other etc... thx. tim
 
I really think the Neko is more rich tonally. It almost sounds tube-like.

However if you want USB, you'll need the PS.

Id say if your system was warm to neutral, you might prefer the PS and if your system was analytical to neutral you might prefer the Neko.

I felt that at the price point, the Neko was the most "analog sounding" of the others in that price category.
