Monarchy SE 160 questions

Has anyone tried these on the Aerius-i ?
I have heard these amps have a bit of a turn on "thump" and was wondering if that would in any way be detrimental to this type of speaker.

I had the SE100. The thing with those amps, and it's stated in the instructions. You must turn the pre on first. If you turn the amps on first, not only will you get the thump, you run the risk of damaging the amps. They should be fine with your speakers.

I have the SE100 and the SM-70PRO. Both are very very good amps for the money. It should drive your speakers with no issues. GregLett is correct you have to turn on the pre first then the amp. Power down must be the amp first then the pre.
