I've been building this over the last few years.

Thorens TD-209. The Thorens cartridge though that's on the list to change.
Cambridge Audio CXN-100 to stream radio and from an NAS in my basement. Ripped a couple of hundred CDs to that.
Mark Levinson ML-10 preamp and ML-9 amplifier.
Panamax power conditions and a fan for the ML-9 as it puts out a LOT of heat.
Both the MLs failed after I got them. Had them repaired.
Martin Logan Aerius. These are 220v UK models it seems. Didn't realize that when I bought them. Once I got the right power to them (through a converter) they sound great.
Cable - custom interconnect as I need CAMAC to CAMAC and they're hard to find. But a guy makes them.
Mark Levinson RCA to CAMAC for the turntable. Came with the amp.
I made the coax cross connect cables for the speakers.

I have a second system here, which is McIntosh C-26 to Krell KAV-250A. This drives Origin Live speakers and some remotes in my kitchen.

Here is my other system. I have a third with my home theater. That's Denon AV Receiver with Dahlquist DQ-10.

This system, as I said
Preamp - McIntosh C-26
Amp - Krell KAV-250a
Streamer - Cambridge Audio CXN100
Speakers - Origin Live. Got them a few months ago. They're small 12 inch high but do sound great.

Nice one with the Aeirus stats! Those were ML's classic hybrids, beautiful sound.

Excellent LP collection there, and on the Thorens TT, should be spinning some fine tooons.
Cheers mate, enjoy those finest tunes!
Woof! RJ

*Note * forgot to mention, that Mark Levinson amplifier is also an excellent match with stats. This is what I'm talking about, real high current and highly stable voltages with solid power supplies. Not puney power supplies that run out of puff... many get it wrong here with amplifier matching.

The Mark Levinson does seem very well matched to the speakers. Plus, the cross whatever cables maybe help. The sound is excellent. And, yes, the power supply in the Mark Levinson is something. And with the heat sinks, the amp weighs 60 lbs. There's a guy in New Jersey who repairs them (hard to find - there are a few authorized but almost no one can do it as an independent). Too heavy to ship really. I drive from Vermont to Washington DC once in a while to visit my dad so I dropped it off on one trip, and picked it up a few months later on another! Wasn't cheap but it's working great now.

I have a lot of LPs, yes, though the ones on the floor belong to my partner. They were her ex's and he left them behind when they divorced. I ran them all through my electrostatic cleaner as she's giving some set to her son for Christmas. I'm giving him a spare turntable - I have too many!

Very nice looking system Robert.

I am a dedicated tube pre/amp user but have to say that the only solid state amplifiers I ever totally fell for and drooled over were the ML-2's monoblocks (think that was the model) They were huge beasts and were driving Beveridge electrostatic speaker and that combo/demo was extremely impressive. I remember the heat output was unreal as they were pure class A power. In any event that demo floored me and although I could not afford the boxes they came in (Great dealership who let me listen to my hearts content even though they knew I didn't have the coin for any part of the setup).

Like Vermont as the wife and I hit Manchester fairly often (big flyfishing fan and have to nose around Orvis),

Happy Listening!

Very cool system! When I picked up my Aerius speakers 3 or 4 years ago, the gentleman I got them from had them set up with some Mark Levinsons. They did indeed sound spectacular.

I have a set of Aerius I's and I think these are the perfect sized electrostatic speaker for the size of rooms most people have. I've never been a fan of putting massive speakers in a regular sized room.

I bet they sound fantastic with the Mark Levinson gear running them. I've always been a huge fan of the vintage HiFi gear.

Very good point on room size. They work well in my living room which is 20 x 20 at most. I think about trying some other speakers (a bit of an addiction in my semi-retirement! I own a screen printing / embroidery shop now) and probably will get something else to try out! But the Martin Logans have such a great sound stage and fill the room very well...
