I am setting up a new cinema room that is being built.
Can anyone comment on the new Passage in wall speakers.
I know of the Martin Logan reputation on floor standing speakers.
I was looking for feedback versus say B & W speakers.

Are there any issues in system set up I would need to be aware of also ?

I've been looking for some place that has them installed and available for demo. Passages as well as Voyage.

I have heard a demo with Frescos (on wall) as front, right, center, with Vignettes in the rear. I liked them. But I'd rather do in-wall.

For what it's worth ...

Heard a demo yesterday of both Frescos and Voyages, side by side.

No question the Voyages are better. We are also talking about a $2k speaker vs. a $1k speaker, so that shouldn't be a big surprise. And a big speaker vs. a smaller speaker.

To be fair, the Frescoes were the earlier model, since updated / upgraded. And they need a higher crossover point to the sub, and the junior salesman doing the demo was clueless about the crossover, so I am not 100% sure just what I was listening to.

But either way, I'd say the Voyages sounded sweeter than you'd think an inwall could be.

The big challenge with the Voyages is size. They would fit nicely in a vertical mounting between the studs, but in my installation they'll need to go horizontal, and they are a LONG speaker, so I'd really have to think through some of the framing challenges. And budgets, when doubling up on the costs.
