anyone have knowledge/experience/tales about this guy and his mods?

Zaph, I've not heard any feedback one way or the other, but in his 'about me' page, I really dig his point of view on audio and where the priorities should be.

So from that perspective, he does seem to have the correct outlook. I also like his no-holds-barred approach to correcting an issue.

Good to have resources that can mod our systems. Matter of fact, we should have a thread that could serve as an index to people who provide speaker or other audio equipment modification services.

I've started that thread over in the Off-topic A/V section.
