Hi all,

Was visiting my sister in law and my nephew bought the NEXT GENERATION REMOTE CONTROL EXTENDER. Costs $39.94 thru Amazon and this puppy is very robust.

Transmits RF through 2 special batteries. You install the RF "receiver" by your gear and then install the typical IR flashers on the hardware sensor for that particular piece and that's it.

Be advised that it only comes with one flasher but you can buy (for additional cost) a 3 or 6 flasher assembly if you want to control numerous pieces of gear. Ideally, you have a universal remote so you don't have to but additional sets of the "special" batteries.

If you have "pointing" issues with your IR only remote or wish to control other gear that is not "line of site" friendly, this is a very cool solution.

It works just as well as my Pronto system.

Highly recommended. :rocker:
