Good sounding dvd/cd player

I presently own a oppo bdp83 cd/dvd all in 1 player, I would like to up grade to a possible better sounding all in 1 player! Is there such a thing ? I heard the SE edition of the bdp83 was better but they are hard to find. Suggestions please

I have a Cambridge CXU universal player. It only shares the transport with Oppo. Cambridge uses Wolfson Dacs that are very good. I am very pleased with this unit. It has been replaced by the 4K version since last year.

As for a 'universal' recommendation, I know they are no longer produced but if you can get your hands on a Oppo UDP205 it's is a super performer, none better at it's price point, IMO and yes I own one.

I have an Oppo BDP 105D that i just love. Plays everything and I can also use it to rip SACD's!!

I use my OPPO 105D mostly as a DAC preamp. I never run media through it.

Roku (Spotify) -> optical out to OPPO 105D -> amp
Music Server (JRiver) -> async USB to OPPO 105D -> amp

I run DVD's and BD's through my OPPO 93 -> AV Receiver, but that's about it.
