Going in for an exam... surgery shelf exam!

Alright guys... I'm going in. 30 minutes from now, I'll be in a moderately lit room taking an exam. Wish me luck!!! It goes for 3 hours....

I just need some luck.... this is supposed to be the hardest/most difficult of all shelf exams.

My most difficult 'shelf' exam was trying to decide which bottle of Scotch to buy and not exceed fifty bucks !

Just survived.... *whoo*....

Now, a little nap... and some listening time with the Summits....

Then time for me to return the loaner PS Audio DAC to my friend's place and take a listen to his Von Schweikert VR4jr system...

And then back the 'burbs for the weekend!

An exam at the end of a rotation... I dont know why it's called a shelf... I dont even have a witty comeback for it.... god, I'm running dry these days.

BTW, thanks for the well wishes everyone! I think I'm in the clear, I think it's definitely a pass.... now to wait to see if it was a highpass or an honor. It's scary though, they (the office of student grades and stuff) page us on our pagers if we failed... that's like in 2 weeks... so we're usually petrified the day they page people because any page could be a page from the office!

One time I looked down at my pager... and I was like "uh oh"... then I read it and it was from my friend asking me what was for lunch.



I think I'm in the clear though... I finished it with time to spare, and finishing these super hard shelf exams is usually a sign of atleast passing!

Yeah... tell me about it! I had to return the DAC that was loaned to me.... now that I'm DACless, the system just doesnt sound the same....
