EM-ESL vs Vista

Hello everyone,
Im considering a purchase between the EM-ESLs and Vista. My local retailer has just got new Martin Logan Vista speakers. As a discontinued product I'm not totally sure. Special offer pricing is $2900 for a pair. Is this a good deal? I am also considering the EM-ESLs which retail here for about $2250. Which one would you suggest?

Hola and welcome avpassion7. Vista is a better product than the Electromotions, even that this is a discontinued product. Theos are replacing the Vista model. The Vista model has aluminum woofers, and also are paired. The serial number must be consecutive. Also, they have better panel integration with the woofer. On the other hand, both models sound great! I could live with any of them, and will be a very proud owner. The comparison is very difficult. But, my vote again, are for the Vista model. Happy listening.

Having heard both, there is no contest. I would pony up the extra $650 and get the Vistas.

Thank you all. I have a couple of follow up questions.
I have read through some threads that the Xtat panels have an issue with dust and moisture. Is this a major issue cause these are 2 things that are difficult to control here.
Secondly the local dealer is providing a manufacturers warranty, but is unable to say clearly in the case of Vista as a discontinued product if this means parts will be available for a period of time?

Ask Martin Logan customer service if the dealer can give you a warranty. Your main questions answer is yes!! These are problem speakers and must be handled with care and maintained with care. I have cats but after usage I wrap my speakers up with the slip covers and vacuum before usage. Follow these steps and they will treat you right for a long time.
