Just curious, the Spires I've had around here forever (yeah, I know I need to get that review done) make this little burp about 20 minutes after I stop playing music.

Do any of you hear this?

It's not real loud, just a little "eep, eep"

No, but one time when my wife was listening with me I had to convince her that my old ReQuests had farted.

happens every time when the power shuts down to the panels...there's always a delay of a 20 or 30 seconds between the speakers.

It should be the woofers from the internal amp shutting down, not the panels. I have had subs with auto on/off that do this.

"Correcto Mundo" Dan, mine do it like Jeff said...15-20 minutes after no signal is detected.

And I thought they were just good, clean livin' speakers... but it turns out they are bad boys after all:eek::devil::devil::devil::)

Logan should fix this it wakes me up when I fall asleep in front of my system
