Nothing like having your wife's cat climb up those lovely Sequel II speakers. God love the little detents on the clear membrane that reflect back to you every time you pass by the speaker.
That was my experience years ago when I bought my first pair of ML's. So when I recently upgraded to the Vantage line, I knew covers where a must because, while the original cat has since left the planet (don't ask me if it was an "unnatural" departure), we now have 3 other felines. As much of a hassle and anguish as the experience was, I used it on the wife (yes, you bachelor’s, its coming) to negotiate up and throw in a Descent sub. I searched the Web and found a customer cover outfit who made some very nice covers, indeed, after some thorough design conferencing and double checking measurements. The material is "Cordura" and extremely hardy. The cost was a bit pricey at $170 each on the Vantages, but I think well worth the effort. They are velcro-ed on the side and are easy to pull off and on. I think the cover is a wise move as well when you count the dust protection. Company was: http://www.undercovernyc.com
