CLX in Milwaukee end of July early August

We expect to have our CLXs near the end of July and will have a listening event with our Friends from Lawrence in town in Mid August. Probably August 20th and or 21st. How many of you may attend? I would like to get an idea of what to plan for.

We are located in downtown Milwaukee. Milwaukees Mitchel field is 15 min. away, Ohare is 90 to 120 depending on traffic (80 miles all interstate). I will make sure anyone attending gets the best deal we can offer.

It's also important to remember:

you will not only have a nice pair of speakers but you are helping the US ecomony. You should bring your checkbook & plastic for one of those reasons alone.

What preamp and source will you be using?

It's also important to remember:

you will not only have a nice pair of speakers but you are helping the US ecomony. You should bring your checkbook & plastic for one of those reasons alone.

That economic stimulus check needs to be about $14,000 more. Otherwise, I'd buy one for sure. I'll consider the trip as an overnighter. If it works out I can make it a business trip.

What preamp and source will you be using?

Most of the equipment will be Mark Levinson. Hopefully the No53s, along with No326s, No502, No51 and an Acoustic Solid turntable. Probably a Denon unit for SACD unless the new Mark Levinson player is out by then. Cables and power conditioning will be Nordost.

We have confirmation that our CLXs are shipping, should have them end of next week. Still planning an event in Mid August, but considering having something for the ML owners club only. I will keep you all posted.
