clipping

dear friends:
i just recieve my cx-260 and px-650 with martin logan speakers ( 2 summit 2 clarity, one subwoofers and center )
i have a problem when the volume is high my px-650 start clipping ,can u please tell me how can i solve this problem and what's the reason for that problem?

How did you come to conclusion that your amp is cliping? What are the meters in faceplate showing?
Cliping means you exeed the power capability of the amp. The solution is to reduce volume or change your amp to one with higher power rating. Accuphase produces fine amps but [1] this one is a digital one and [2] is rated to 4ohms and higher so there _might_ be a problem with low impedance like with ML speakers...

Heat is not your friend...

If you hear distortion, the impedance load of the Summits could be sending your amplifier into erratic oscillation and clipping. You should check the operating temperature when this is happening, if the amp is getting really hot to the touch, this may be part of the problem. A strategically-placed high speed box fan on the heat sinks may delay the inevitable sonic maladies.
