I have a pair of Summits that I love ... When listening to HT I have been running them in 4.1 mode (Phantom Center). As long as I sit in the right spot it has been fine. I have been thinking of adding a Stage center channel to fillin the holes for a wall of sound across the front but my concern is I will not get the same quality sound that I get out of the summits only.

My understanding of 5.1 is that it sends all the dialog through the center. Is there a way to configure it so that it also sends the center dialog to my Summit mains (I call it phantom enhanced), in addition to the center Stage, so I can get the quality and dispersion I want.:music:

Thanks!

This really depends on your surround processor. I know the Theta processors are set up to do this.
