FYI, per this video (and others) from Cedia 2024, ML is planning to replace the BalancedForce models with two new Depth subs... the Depth 212 and Depth 215...



Interesting that they're using the Depth name for these. I hope this isn't an omen that they're cutting back (or punting) on the Masterpiece line.
 
I think it has more to do with marketing/branding, as 'balanced force' does not exactly roll off the tongue, and Depth is an evocative (and short) name for a subwoofer.
They keep the configuration architecture the same, as the naming includes 'BalancedForce' for dual 12s and dual 15s Depths.
And my bet is pricing will ensure it's part of the Masterpiece line.
 
I think you're right Jonathon. I mistakenly thought the old Descent and Depth were their lower line models, but now remember they were the SOTA models at the time, with three drivers. The BalancedForce line replaced them.
